Not every band is right for every party. A small band can get drowned out by a large crowd in a big room, and a large band can overwhelm both the crowd and the room. Some bands have appropriate sound systems and stage lighting for any event; some don't. Some bands have performed for years, can handle any situation and any crowd, and always get rave reviews. Some perform sporadically, are inflexible, and have a constantly revolving set of players. We have a list of over 200 artists in the St. Louis area and have the expertise to know which ones will be suitable for your event. When you book your entertainment through us, you'll get only responsible, high-quality entertainers who have proved themselves at countless events over many years, and you will get peace of mind.

Things to consider:

* You can never book your entertainment too early! Our most popular bands tend to get booked six months to a year in advance. Prime wedding months April, May, June, August, September and October go especially fast.

* Most bands can cover a total of four hours by performing three sets with two breaks. In practice, however, few events go according to schedule, and our entertainers will work around your needs. You can plan breaks for your speaker, cake-cutting, toasts, bouquet toss, etc. whenever you want.

* Most of our bands bring all the sound equipment, stage lights, and other gear necessary. Most bands will ask you to supply a stage, which you can arrange through us or through your contact at the venue. With at least 60 days notice, most of our bands are happy to learn a special song or two for you, provided it's in their general genre. Our bands will also provide recorded music to play before they begin and during their breaks, and you're welcome to bring a CD of your favorites to play, too.

* Also, most bands are delighted to emcee, present the bridal party, and make other announcements during your reception or party.

* We require a 50%, non-refundable deposit and a signed contract to guarantee the band on the date you want.

* We will reconfirm all the details starting times, set-up time, first dance song, etc. - weeks days before your event. Our bands make every effort to have their stage set-up and all their sound checks complete before your guests arrive.
